The Cancer Prevention Institute of California was looking for an interesting way to raise donations for their research causes. Rather than making the standard donation in the name of someone you care about, we helped CPIC take it to a whole new level by developing personalized dedication video cards. A donation of just $1 allows you to create your own video. Simply upload a photo of the person you are making the dedication to and they become embedded into the video which can be shared via email, Facebook and other social channels.

CASE STUDY
Cisco WebEx is one of the leading online meeting applications in the world yet are quickly facing a crowded marketplace as new and established companies are entering into the same space. 

To increase awareness and a new level of interest with the brand, our solution was Pass The Ball—a community website that asks users to create ideas, rate ideas, and ultimately, collaborate with others using WebEx. The premise of the campaign was that “Ideas get better when you pass them around.” 

The site also featured free online Webcast event series featuring such notables as Richard Branson (Virgin), Tom Brokaw (NBC), Bear Grylls(Man VS Wild) , Chris Anderson (Wired), Steve Wozinak (Apple), Alice Waters, Guy Kawasaki (Apple/Alltop), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Jon Bon Jovi, Rock The Vote, USA Network, and The World Wildlife Fund. Once users watched the events, they were encouraged to add their own ideas based off topics happening in each webinar.

Today, the site continues to evolve with thousands of ideas being added, more and more people rating and commenting, and hundreds of people actively participating in the webinar forums.

CASE STUDY
Over 300,000 dead. 2.5 million more at risk. Darfur remains one of the most tragic abuses happening to mankind today. Amnesty International needed a way to show evidence of the atrocities happening to get the international community engaged. Our solution was Eyes on Darfur – a microsite that uses satellite imagery to show evidence of genocide in Darfur, Sudan. 

We took commercially available satellite footage and matched up before and after images to discover that whole sections of villages were being wiped out, huts were bombed and countless people were displaced. As viewers at home watch the site, they too can become an international watchdog community for villages that remain at risk.

While many websites measure success with page views and units sold, Eye’s helped the UN in their decision to send 10,000 peacekeeping troops to protect the people in Darfur.
